The Assam Rifles has successfully spearheaded a social service camp as part of the “Clean Lilong, Clean Manipur” initiative, running from September 30 to November 10, 2024. This campaign, led by the Lilong United Club—a coalition of 54 youth clubs—saw the active participation of 300 civilians alongside a large number of Assam Rifles personnel.
During the campaign, Assam Rifles provided essential sanitation supplies to address the community’s cleanliness needs. Assam Rifles officials emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean environment and highlighted the collective effort required to combat drug abuse and extortion in the region.
In addition to the cleanliness drive, discussions were held on pre-recruitment training programs aimed at supporting local youth interested in joining the armed forces.
Officials of the Lilong United Club, expressed his gratitude for Assam Rifles’ support in this initiative and pledged to continue tackling social issues in collaboration with the organization.

ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTS AWARENESS DRIVE AND MEDICAL CAMP FOR WORLD IMMUNISATION DAY IN CHANDEL DISTRICT
In observance of World Immunisation Day, the Assam Rifles, organized a comprehensive awareness drive and medical camp across several villages including Sehlon, Kovang, Kachinbung, Tuitong, Old Samtal, and New Samtal from November 1 to November 10, 2024.
This initiative aimed to educate local communities on the critical importance of immunisation, particularly in remote areas with limited access to healthcare services. The campaign featured the distribution of informational leaflets and posters placed in key locations to highlight the benefits of vaccines in preventing infectious diseases and safeguarding family health.
Children actively participated in rallies, chanting slogans that promoted vaccination awareness. An informative lecture was also conducted to emphasize the significance of timely vaccinations for individuals of all age groups. Additionally, medical camps offered health check-ups and consultations, encouraging residents to adhere to regular vaccination schedules.

ASSAM RIFLES HOSTS “A DAY WITH COMPANY COMMANDER” EVENT IN CHANDEL DISTRICT
On November 8, 2024, the Assam Rifles, organized “A Day with Company Commander” at Rana Top, bringing together locals from Aishi and Khulmunlen villages for a day of engagement and entertainment.
The event featured a dog show and various fun games designed for participants of all ages. Residents from Aishi and Khulmunlen villages enthusiastically joined in the festivities, contributing to the vibrant spirit of the occasion. The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the games.
