Ashutosh Kumar, Vishal Bhati and skipper Chandrahas Dash displayed a superb performance with the bat and ball to help Bengal Under-19 team script a brilliant 23-run victory over Gujarat in the Cooch Behar Trophy match in Motera on Friday.
After two back-to-back victories to start the tournament, unbeaten Bengal have 13 points in their bag.
Ashutosh (8-71, 3-88), Vishal (74, 1-2, 6-55) and Chandrahas (70) were the star performers for Bengal in the match.
Chasing a challenging target of 299, Gujarat were bowled out for 275 in their second innings on the third day.
Earlier, after posting 246 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out Gujarat for 136. In their second innings, Bengal scored 188 to hand a challenging target to Gujarat.
