ASSAM RIFLES PROVIDES EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO ROAD ACCIDENT VICTIMS AT S KHOLEN VILLAGE
On 31 December 2024, Assam Rifles provided emergency medical assistance to a 27-year-old male road accident victim from Chongkhozou village, Churachandpur District.
A swift response from Assam Rifles personnel deployed at S Kholen village, Henglep Subdivision, Churachandpur District, saved the lives of the accident victims. In the late afternoon, a Bolero camper carrying four passengers met with an accident and toppled onto a nearby ridge while traveling from Thinkeu village to Tuilamjang village.
The 27-year-old victim sustained a head injury and received necessary medical care, including four stitches, while the others were provided with basic first aid. All victims were subsequently referred to the District Hospital in Churachandpur for further treatment.
The timely intervention of Assam Rifles underscores their commitment to serving the local community and providing critical assistance in times of need.
