The Presentation Ceremony was held yesterday at the iconic Grand Stairs, Raj Bhavan, Kolkata, graced by the Governor of West Bengal, Dr. CV Ananda Bose. The event celebrated excellence and dedication by recognizing outstanding individuals and their remarkable contributions.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Governor, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, evoking a sense of pride and unity among all present.
The Head of the Task Force delivered the welcome remarks, introducing the honorees and highlighting the significance of the occasion.
Dr.Bose personally presented tokens of recognition, including a Scroll of Honor, a Trophy, and a Cheque to the distinguished recipients.
Santosh Trophy winners, Bengal Football Team was felicitated by Dr.CV Ananda Bose with Ati Vishisht Param Samman. This historic 33rd Santosh Trophy title, achieved by young and talented Bengal boys through remarkable determination and teamwork under the able leadership of the team’s coach Mr.Sanjoy Sen and the Captain Chaku Mandi.IFA’s Chairman Mr. Subrata Dutta and Secretary Mr.Anirban Dutta also attended this auspicious occasion.
The ceremony also featured heartfelt reply speeches by the honorees, expressing gratitude and sharing their inspiring journeys. The Hon’ble Governor addressed the gathering, delivering an impactful speech that underscored the importance of recognizing excellence and fostering a culture of dedication.
Adding to the grandeur of the event, the SSB Band gave an outstanding performance, earning admiration from all attendees.
The evening also included a captivating cultural program by the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), showcasing the rich heritage of the region. The formal proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Deputy Secretary, followed by a closing rendition of the National Anthem.
