Acting on specific intelligence of movement of explosives in general area Khankawn, Champhai, Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post on Aizwal- Zokhawthar road (NH-6) on 29 January 25 . The team stopped a vehicle and on thorough search recovered 4450 Electric Detonators and apprehended one individual. The apprehended individual and the recovered items have been handed over to Mizoram Police for further investigations.
