In a recent meeting at Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi, the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this visit, Dr. Saha extended an invitation to the Prime Minister to inaugurate the redeveloped premises of the Mata Tripureswari Temple in Matabari, Tripura.
Dr. Saha conveyed warm regards on behalf of the people of Tripura, particularly acknowledging Prime Minister Modi’s successful diplomatic visits to France and the USA. He also congratulated the Prime Minister on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s significant victory in the recent Delhi Assembly elections.
Their discussion also touched upon key infrastructure developments in Tripura. Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of constructing a national highway connecting Kamalpur to Santirbazar via Ambassa, Ganda Twisa, and Amarpur. Additionally, he highlighted the necessity of establishing premier educational institutions such as AIIMS, IIT, and IIM in the state to enhance educational opportunities and healthcare services for its residents.
This meeting underscores the Tripura government’s continued engagement with the central leadership to advance developmental initiatives that will significantly benefit the state and its people.
