The attacks on multiple terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were part of a joint operation by the Army and the Air Force, as news agency reported. Precision weapons were used to target the terror camps under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the news agency further reported, quoting sources.
A little while ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed..a government release said.
Altogether, nine (9) sites have been targeted.
Nine terror sites were targeted in Pakistan and POK in retaliation for the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people on April 22. The government, in a statement, said only terror sites were targeted, and that “considerable restraint” was shown in their selection, and the method of execution.
“Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution.”

Indian Army said in a post on X at 2:42 am on Wednesday, “Pakistan again violates the Ceasefire Agreement by firing Artillery in Bhimber Gali in Poonch- Rajauri area.”
Indian Army is responding appropriately in a calibrated manner, the post read.
Indian Air Force Pilots who took part in Operation Sindhur are all safe.
According to government sources, every pilot has returned safe and sound.
