JMB TERROR MODULE BUSTED IN WEST BENGAL

The West Bengal Special Task Force (STF) has arrested two men associated with the banned terrorist group Jamatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) after raids carried out in Nalhati and Murarai in Birbhum district. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Ajmol Hossain (28) and Saheb Ali Khan (28), residents of Nalhati and Murarai, respectively.

The two were found to be propagating the ideology of the Jamatul Mujahideen Bangladesh, which is engaged in anti-India activities, hatching conspiracies to carry out terrorist attacks in the country.

Activities:

Disseminating jihadi & seditious content
Radicalising youth for “Ghazwatul Hind”
Planning targeted attacks in India.
Attempting to procure arms & explosives
Using encrypted networks to operate

CROSS-BORDER ANGLE:

Ajmol Hossain previously attempted to enter Bangladesh for jihadi activity and has links across Asian Sub Continent.
