The Governor of West Bengal, Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, made an impromptu visit to the Benachity Sabji Mandi in Durgapur today, drawing the attention and admiration of local residents.
HG walked through the bustling marketplace, interacting freely with shopkeepers, vendors, and members of the public. People responded with warmth and enthusiasm, pleasantly surprised to find the Governor amidst the everyday rush of the sabji mandi.
During his visit, the Governor also purchased vegetables such as onions, potatoes, and other fresh produce for Raj Bhavan, reflecting his simple and grounded approach.
The spontaneous interaction left a lasting impression on the people of Durgapur and once again demonstrated the Governor’s commitment to staying closely connected with the everyday lives of West Bengal’s citizens.
