BJP MLA of Assam Biswajit Phukan proposed setting up of a sports academy boxer Lovlina Borgohain’s name.
Phukan said that he has sent a proposal in this regard to the state administration.
Lovlina first from who participate medal-winning campaign for India Tokyo Olympics 2021.
Phukan also said, “We have budding footballers, boxers and athletes. Hence, we have sent a proposal to the state administration for establishing a sports academy in Lovlina Borgohain’s name near her village.
