Asam Girl Nandita Saikia who hailed from Naba kathbaru village in Dhakuakhana was injured in a machete attack dies in Dibrugarh.
Nandita Saikia was attacked with a machete, on Saturday, by Rintu Sarma in the Dhemaji district of Assam.
Nandita Saikia, was a BA third-semester student of Maridhal College in Dhemaji.
The incident occurred on Saturday when Nandita along with her classmate Kashmira Dutta and her father Deba Dutta was at the Dhemaji bus stand.
Meanwhile, Assam Police have arrested Rintu Sarma.
