Along with the security of International Border, the Border Security Force has always been doing every possible efforts to develop good mentality and mutual trust in the minds of the people residing in border areas. For which, time to time, free medical camps are organized by BSF for the needy people. In this effort, 153 Battalion BSF, deployed in the border area of District- North 24 Parganas under South Bengal Frontier, organized a free medical camp under Civic Action Program.
Under this, on 29th March 2023, from 1015 hrs to 1500 hrs, 153 Battalion BSF organized a free medical camp at BOP Kaijuri in which 207 border residents were examined by a team of Doctors ped by Medical Officer of BSF. Thereafter, free medicines worth Rs 60,260/- were distributed among them. Patients with serious illness were also advised to get treatment in the nearest civil hospital.
During the camp, Sarpanch and members of village Kaijuri were also present. The villagers, sarpanch and members of Kaijuri village expressed their gratitude and appreciation towards BSF for organizing such medical camp.
