Mizoram Lok Sabha MP C Lalrosanga held talks with MPs of Northeastern states and MLAs from Churachandpur and requested their cooperation to end the ongoing violence in Manipur and the prospect of the evacuation of victims to tranquil zones.
In his conversation with Dr. Ranjan Rajkumar Singh – Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Dr Lorho Pfoze, MP from Outer Manipur constituency, C. Lalrosanga conveyed the ongoing process of evacuation of victims to tranquil zones. He stressed the need to provide better food supplies to people who seek refuge in Imphal CRPF Camp and also requested his fellow MPs to provide security and vehicles to people who want to depart for Churachandpur.
C. Lalrosanga also held talks with Paolienlal Haokip, MLA Churachandpur and the two agreed to meet in Aizawl to discuss further initiatives and strategies on the issue.
C Lalrosanga also held a conversation with Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga and the two discussed the prospect of making arrangements for flights and vehicles for people who want to leave Manipur for Mizoram. He continues to hold talks with both the offices of the Union Home Minister and the Union Home Secretary regarding the situation in Manipur.
