Noted Journalist and Politician Manjit Mahanta breathed his last at Approximately 2 AM On Monday at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Manjit Mahanta worked as a journalist in NETV and Frontier TV.
Later he has joined politics and become the chairman of the media department of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee.
In the 2021 Assam Assembly Election Mahanta contested Dispur Constituency as a Congress candidate.
The final rites of Mahanta will be conducted at Navagraha.
