On 10 Jan 24, official inauguration of Project Bishnunaha -A Women Empowerment Initiative was carried out at Bishnunuha Community Hall, Yaripok. The project was conceived by Bishnunuha Youth Federation Yaripok (BYFY), Meira Paibes of Yaripok and Assam Rifles to empower the women of locality by providing them financial assistance and administrative support to establish a setup for production of Bamboo and Kauna based products as well as Candles, Incense Sticks and other handicraft items.
The event was attended by Shri Keisham Meghachandra, MLA Wangkkhem & President MPCC Manipur along with D.C. Thoubal and officers from Assam Rifles.
