Khasi singer Rana Kharkongor passed away at NEIGRIHMS. He was 69 years of age.
He tested positive Covid-19 on 16th May.
He started singing in 1973 at the studios of All India Radio, Shillong and later earned ‘Grade A’ by A.I.R.
He was awarded the Mondon Bareh Award in 2003 and the Meghalaya Day Award in 2006.
Meghalaya has lost a talented icon in the field of arts .
