Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in his address to the nation said the Central government will provide free vaccines to the states for all citizens above the age of 18 years.
No state government of the country will have to spend anything on the vaccine. Till now crores of people of the country have got free vaccines.
The Central government will procure 75 percent of vaccine and give to states for free. Private hospitals can buy 25 percent, but additional hospital charges have been capped at Rs 150.
