Arunachal Cabinet today approved for the creation of two posts of Adventure Promotion Instructor (API) in the Department of Youth Affairs. Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu informed it
Mr Tapi Mra, first Everester from Arunachal and Ms. Tine Mena, first Woman Everester from North East will be appointed to these posts as a special case.
The Cabinet viewed that the expertise and experience of the duo in the field of mountaineering and adventure sports will benefit a lot of aspiring youths.
