During his two days, visits in Assam RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday in Guwahati declares ‘CAA and NRC have nothing to do with Hindu-Muslim divide.
Bhagwat was speaking at the launch of a book by Guwahati University professor Nani Gopal Mahanta’ on CAA and NRC.
On the NRC issue, Bhagwat said that all nations have the right to know who their citizens are.
Bhagwat reassured that no Muslim in the country will face any loss due to Citizenship Amendment Act.
He said India did not need lessons from other countries on secularism and democracy as India has lived with this ethos for more than 4,000 years.
He also claimed that the opposition against NRC-CAA is politically motivated.
