BJP’s Tripura ally Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) has demanded a separate tribal state.
A four-member delegation of the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura.
The delegation was led by Forest minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia.
IPFTs move comes after the BJP-IPFT alliance lost elections to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) in April this year.
