In Tripura, a big setback for Biplab Kumar Deb led government,
Tripura BJP MLA Ashish Das left the saffron party.
Das told reporters on Tuesday “I’m quitting BJP today. I had talks with TMC. More BJP MLAs may leave the party in coming days,”
Das also told,” Mamata Banerjee has been a choice of many people for the post of Prime Minister. We have not seen any Bengali become Prime Minister till now,” Ashish Das told reporters in West Bengal.“
Das has visited the Trinamool Congress office in Kolkata last week but the Tripura BJP unit had refuted the claims of his chances of joining Mamata Banerjee’s party.
In Tripura TMC already trying to focus on the 2023 Assembly Election.
