Two more Death in Government Owned HPC Paper Mills again in Assam this week.
The death toll raised to 97, union leader Manebendra Chakraborty claimed.
Nripendra Chandra Dey of Cachar Paper Mill was suffering from Bone related Disease failed to arrange desired treatment in time due to nonpayment of Salary for the last 58 months and Golap Manta of Nagaon Paper Mill was suffering from liver cancer Union leader Chakraborty also claimed.
The two paper mills of Assam Panchgram in Hailakandi district and Jagiroad paper mill in Nagaon district were closed in 2015 and 2017.
Due to nonpayment of Salary and other dues for the last 58 months and lost the battle for their life respectively. Our Colleagues failed to arrange desired treatment in time claimed President of the Joint Action Committee of Recognised Unions (JACRU) of both Nagaon and Cachar Mills, Manabendra Chakraborty.
