The Investiture Ceremony (Oath Taking Ceremony) of the State Council Members was held at State Training Centre, N. F. Railway of Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG), Maligaon (Guwahati) on 23rd February, 2022. Chief Patron of BSG/NFR Shri Anshul Gupta (General Manager, N. F. Railway) & Patron/BSG/NFR Shri Sunil Sharma (General Manager, N. F. Railway/Construction) along with other Patrons of BSG/NFR, Smt. Abha Gupta (President/NFRWWO), Shri Rahul Gautam (AGM/NFR), President BSG/NFR Shri G. K. Gupta (PCME/NFR) & State Chief Commissioner Shri Chandrajit Saikia, PCPO/NFR were also present along with several other officers of N. F. Railway.
The occasion took off by the Investiture Ceremony of State Council Members at the Flag Arena of State Training Centre/ BSG followed by State Council Meeting. The welcome note by State Chief Commissioner of BSG, Shri Chandrajit Saikia was addressed to the State Council followed by a valuable speech delivered by Chief Patron BSG/NFR Shri Anshul Gupta, Patron/BSG/NFR Shri Sunil Sharma & Patron/BSG/NFR Smt. Abha Gupta.
On the occasion, presentation were made by State Chief Commissioner of BSG, Shri Chandrajit Saikia and President BSG/NFR, Shri G. K. Gupta towards various Scouting & Guiding activities undertaken in the previous year along with the future plans for BSG/NFR. Celebrations of International days and rendering various community development service activities for Scouts & Guides were also projected. The meeting was concluded by the Vote of Thanks by State Secretary/BSG/NFR & DGM & Secy. to GM/NFR Shri Pranav Jyoti Sharma.
