Assam Rajya Sabha Election Result declared. The BJP and his allies UPPL won both the Rajya Sabha seats from Assam which was held on Thursday. First time the history Congress will not have any Rajya Sabha MP representing them from Assam.
BJP candidate Pabitra Gogoi Margherita and UPPL candidate Rwngwra Narzary wins both seat. United Opposition candidate Ripun Bora defeated. Bora gets only 35 votes and one vote rejected.
BJP candidate Pabitra Gogoi Margherita gets 46 and UPPL candidate Rwngwra Narzary gets 44 vote.
