Tripura By Polls : BJP 3 , Congress 1, CM Dr. Manik Saha & Sudip Roy Barman among winner

The counting of votes is in Tripura bypolls in four Assembly constituencies is over. The rulling Bharatiya Janata Party BJP won 3 seat and Congress 1.

The Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha won the by-election for the Town Bardowali seat by a margin of 6,104 defeated Congress candidate Asish Kumar Saha. Congress candidate Asish Kumar Saha left the BJP and joined the Congress in February 2022.

Congress Candidate Sudip Roy Barman wins in Agartala Constituency. Earlier Roy Barman left the BJP and joined the Congress in February 2022.

The BJP also won the Surma seats in the Tripura bypolls.

BJP candidate Malina Debnath wins with a margin of 4320 votes from Jubarajnagar constituency.

Meanwhile, the Congress party made a comeback of sorts by winning one seat and the CPI(M) and the TMC failed to manage a seat.

Voting for the Tripura bypolls in four Assembly constituencies of Tripura took place on Thursday (June 23).
