The Rajya Sabha tenure of Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi will end on Thursday.
After resignation Naqvi met national president JP Nadda at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday.
Report from sources BJP may produce Naqvi’s name vice presidential candidate.
Along with Naqvi, another Union Minister Chandra Prasad Singh has also submitted his resignation .
