The incident took place at around 2125 hrs on the night of 22 July, 2022 in Singhpara village falling under the area of 141 Battalion BSF. In which the health of a 53-year-old woman suddenly deteriorated. When the family members of the woman asked for help from the Company Commander of Border Out Post Sagarpara, he without delay sent a BSF ambulance along with a nursing assistant to the woman’s house and she was admitted to Sagarpara Government Hospital for treatment. The condition of the woman is said to be fine.
The family members of the woman expressed their gratitude to the Border Security Force and stated that if the BSF jawans had not helped at the right time, then something wrong could have happened.
BSF officers state that along with the security of the International Boundary, the security of the people is also done with utmost devotion and responsibility. In any untoward incident, the jawans stand shoulder to shoulder with the people.
