World IVF Day was celebrated on 25 Jul 2022 at 151 Base Hospital, Guwahati to commemorate the birth of the world’s first IVF baby Louise Brown on 25 Jul 1978.
The ART Centre at 151 Base Hospital offers state of the art infertility treatment to couples of Armed Forces of the entire Eastern Command.
An awareness programme was organized on the occasion to cover the enormity of infertility issues in the Armed Forces and ART services offered for the same. Felicitation of the successful IVF cases (couples & babies) in the station was also carried out.
