On 07th August 2022, troops of Border Out Post Shikarpur, 86 Battalion, showing the spirit of cooperation with security in the Border area of Murshidabad district, took a person suffering from sudden stomach pain in the night. The Company Commander of Border Out Post Shikarpur got information that Biplab Mondal son of Budhu Monda, village Shikarpur suddenly got stomach pain at 02 am and needed a vehicle to his family members to take him hospital. After which the company commander without delay sent the BSF ambulance along with the nursing assistant to the patient house. From there the patient was taken along with family members to Karimpur Hospital. Where the doctor on duty gave the necessary treatment after the primary examination. The condition of the sick person is said to be normal now.
The patient’s family expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the cooperation of the Border Security Force and said that BSF always helps the needy people.
Shri Surendra Kumar, Commanding Officer of 86 Battalion stated that the Border Security Force troops always do duty on the International Border, in day and night. Along with this, they are always ready to help the people living on the Border. Due to which there is always a mutual relationship and cooperation between the Border Security Force and the Border residents.
