The incident took place on 04th September 2022 at 0855 am, in village Ramnarayanpur falling under the area of 141 Battalion under South Bengal Frontier. When Mukhrul Sarkar’s two-year-old son suddenly suffered from swelling and severe pain in the body. The family members of the child sought help from the company commander of Border Out Post Sagarpara. The company commander without delay sent a BSF ambulance along with a nursing assistant to Mukhrul Sarkar’s house. From there the child was taken to Karimpur Hospital for treatment. The condition of the child is said to be fine.
The family members of the child expressed their gratitude to the Border Security Force and said that if the BSF jawans had not helped at the right time, then something big could have happened.
Shri Nagendra Singh Rautela, Commanding Officer, 141 Battalion expressed happiness over this commendable work of the jawans and stated that Border Security Force is with the Border people in every happiness and sorrow along with curbing the crimes committed on the Border. To establish more cordial relations between the Border Security Force and the general public.
