Agnipath Scheme is a transformational reform for the Army and aims to bring paradigm changes in the Human Resource Management of the Indian Army and hence makes it one of the most significant initiatives which aims to make Indian Army a future ready fighting force by instituting a fair, transparent and scientific method.
Agniveer Recruitment Rally commenced in Udalguri, Assam on November 1, 2022. The aspirants of Agnipath Scheme started reporting at the Rally site on October 31, 2022. Approximately 48000 male and female candidates from 13 districts of Assam and seven North Eastern states have registered for this recruitment rally.
The rally will be conducted in three phases for eligible candidates. Phase 1 will be conducted for men from 13 districts of Assam from November 1, 2022 to November 19, 2022 for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk, Agniveer Store Keeper Technical and Agniveer Tradesman.
Phase 2 will be conducted for men from all seven North Eastern States for Agniveer Nursing Assistant (Technical & Veterinary) and Religious Teacher categories from 21 to 23 November.
Phase 3 will be conducted for women of all seven North Eastern States from November 26, 2022 to November 27, 2022 for Women Military Police.
This recruitment rally will continue till November 27, 2022.
Indian Army’s formation based at Rangia and Army Recruitment Office, Narangi are coordinating with 11 Administrative departments and agencies of Assam State government for the conduct of the rally.
