On 27th November’ 2022, at 2350 hrs, alert troops of Border Out Post Hridaypur, 82 Battalion deployed on the Border under South Bengal Frontier, seized 17 kg of human hair from their area of responsibility. Smugglers were trying to take these human hairs from India to Bangladesh.
The seized items were handed over to Police Station Chhapra.
The Commanding Officer of 82 Battalion stated that BSF jawans always perform their duty by being alert on the Border, due to which smugglers do not get success in their ill-intentioned activities. Our jawans sense any incident before it happens and sabotage the plans of the smugglers.
