AROHAN is a flagship scheme of Assam State Government in which meritorious students of class IX-XII will be provided support through mentoring for career progression,exposure and incentives.A total of 4438 students of Government Schools, Adarsh Vidyalayas, Tea Garden Model Schools and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas are being covered under this scheme in 2022-23.
As part of exposure visit under AROHAN a total of 250 students of Charaideo and Sivasagar districts will be visiting Narangi Military Station. Know Your Army event is being organized for them in Brahmaputra Hall in Narangi Military Station on 01 Feb 2023 1000hrs onwards. General Officer Commanding 51 Sub Area and other dignitaries will be present.The event will include motivational lectures by Gallantry award winners, career counselling lectures, pipe band display, weapon display, performance by NCC cadets followed by lunch and visit of Cantonment.
