Historical Doul Govinda Temple of Assam

One of the important temples of Assam situated on the northern banks, on the foothills of Chandra Bharati hill at Rajaduar, North Guwahati.

The temple is mainly devoted to Lord Krishna and there is an Namghar along with the temple in the same premises.

This temple is famous for tourists attraction in the time of Holi February – March and Janamastami is another festival celebrated at this temple. The temple is also attracts Maghi Purnima festival.

The Doul Govinda temple is also known to beautiful scenic beauty.

The temple is open for devotee for Morning 7.30 AM to 8 PM everyday.

How to travel Doul Govinda Temple:

By Rail: The nearest railway station to the temple is Kamakhya Railway station.

By Road: Trekkers are available from Kharguli, Adabari and Jalukbari in Guwahati to reach the temple.

Bus, Auto  are available within the city to reach the temple.

Ferry services also available from Fency Bazar ghat.
