North Bengal Agniveer Recruitment Rally for Recruiting year (2023-24) under the Agnipath Scheme of Indian Army concluded at Sevoke Road Military Station, Siliguri on 21st November 2023.The rally which commenced on 16 November 2023 was organized by the Trishakti Corps for enrolment of desirous youth from North Bengal into the Indian Army.
The rally which is the second rally under the Agnipath scheme held in North Bengal received an enthusiastic response from a large number of youth from the eight districts of North Bengal i.e Cooch Behar,Alipurduar,Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda.
Large number of young men who had been shortlisted for the rally after clearing the Online Common Entrance Examination held in April 2023 braved the morning cold each day as they raced against the clock to clear the mandatory physical tests for enrolment into the Indian Army. The results of the rally are likely to be declared by February/March 2024.
