Minister of Environment and Forest Mama Natung graced the 3rd Edition of Eagle Nest Bird Festival in Rupa town, West Kameng District, as the chief guest. Accompanying him were Jitendra Kumar (PCCF), Milo Tassar (IFS), Special Guest Jadav Payeng (Padma Shri Awardee, also known as Forest Man), DC Bomdila, ADC Rupa, SP Bomdila, former RWD minister D.K Thongdok, and other dignitaries.
Natung encouraged students and villagers to plant trees extensively. He expressed gratitude to the Sherdukpen and Bugun communities for embracing the theme of preserving nature on a large scale.
Jitendra Kumar, PCCF, extended heartfelt thanks to the organizing team and Minister Mama Natung for their dedicated efforts in nature protection, including initiatives like the Airgun Surrender Abhiyan.
