On 22nd December’, an awareness program on the subject of “Human Trafficking, Child Sexual Abuse, Exploitation and Co-ordination, Child labour, Gender Violation & Discrimination’ Child Marriage and Misuse of Social Media & its Prevention” was Organized by AHTU, 68 Battalion BSF under South Bengal Frontier with ‘Shreema Mahila Samiti’ & ‘Child line NGO’ at Fakirchand High School, Pustighata, Dist- North24Parganas (West Bengal).
Members of ”Shreema Mahila Samiti” & ‘Child Line NGO’ with staff, AHTU Team, 68 Battalion, BSF along with pradhan, Panchayat members and Villagers, a total 90 people took part in the Program.
Pradhan, Panchayat members along with Villagers of Village Navadapada thanked AHTU, BSF and NGO for conducting such activities to promote awareness among the Villagers.
Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier, emphasized the significance of such programs, underscoring the organization’s unwavering commitment to preventing human trafficking and child crimes. In conjunction with NGOs, the AHTU, and BSF conduct awareness campaigns in various border areas to combat serious offenses like juvenile delinquency, cybercrime, and human trafficking.
