Assam Rifles organised a Specialist Medical Camp at Hereilo and Leike villages of Dima Hasao district on 25 February 2024 .
The aim of this medical camp was to provide medical treatment to the patients and distribute medicines to the ailing patients of far flung bordering areas of Dima Hasao. Apart from the medical assistance, basic awareness on HIV/AIDS and ill effects of drug addiction was also covered during the conduct of Medical Camp.
Around 450 people got benefited from the camp which covered general health checkup and medical examination by the Medicine Specialist from District Hospital Haflong, RMO of Assam Rifles and representatives of local Primary Health Care Centre.
The local populace appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for this thoughtful and benevolent act. Hereilo and Leike village authority and the local populace expressed their gratitude towards Assam Rifles for the humanitarian service rendered to them and acknowledged the efforts of Assam Rifles for the welfare of people.
