Commissioning Ceremony of 22 Nursing Cadets of Batch X, College of Nursing, Command Hospital (EC) was held today. Major General Dattakiran Joshi, Major General Medical, Headquarters (Eastern Command) was the Reviewing Officer of the ceremony.
The ceremony was graced by Major General AK Srivastava, Commandant, Command Hospital (Eastern Command), Brigadier Sudharmma Devi P, Brigadier Military Nursing Service, Eastern Command, other senior officers and proud parents. Principal, College of Nursing, Command Hospital (Eastern Command) delivered oath to the newly commissioned Nursing Officers. The ceremony created an aura of valor and victory as the newly commissioned Nursing Officers smartly and proudly marched past the audience upholding the age old tradition of care with compassion.
Among the newly commissioned Nursing Officers, Lieutenant Anushri Bisoyi was awarded Rolling trophy and Gold Medal for securing First position and Lieutenant Lakshmi AR bagged the silver medal for ranking Second position in final year BSc Nursing WBUHS examination.
Lieutenant Riya Raman was adjudged “The Best All Round Nursing Cadet” for her dexterity in academics as well as co curricular activities. Lieutenant Roshni Basera was endowed as “The Best Clinical Nurse”. Captain Anagha T and Lieutenant Colonel Anu Zacharia received awards for securing First and Second position respectively in MSc Nursing WBUHS final exams.
