THIS NIT PROJECT WILL UNITE US WITH THE WHOLE INDIA WITH A STRONG BOND; THANK YOU INDIAN ARMY AND ASSAM RIFLES: A STUDENT OF NAGALAND

A National Integration Tour was organized for Nagaland students aiming at providing rich and varied exposure, to foster a sense of unity and one-ness amongst the diverse communities within the country. The tour was organized by the Assam Rifles and the team comprised 18 students and 2 teaching faculties from Modern college, Piphema. It was a 10 day tour from Dimapur, Nagaland to New Delhi and Ahmedabad.

They visited different places like India Gate, Red Fort, National War Memorial, Statue of unity, Science city, ISRO Ahmedabad aka Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition Centre, Sabarmati Ashram, IIM Ahmedabad and many more places around the National capital and Gujarat.

Rachel Thiumai , a English Literature student of Modern College ,Nagaland. She was the part of this NIT programme.

“We visited the Statue of Unity which is the biggest statue in the world.We travelled for hours; it was a long journey but the outcome was good. I consider our visit to the Statue of Unity as the best.”

“My visit to IIM Ahmedabad made me realize that the world we live in is very competitive and one should work hard to achieve the goals.”

Meeting with Army officers of Golden Katar Division was a great privilege for Rachel and her friends.
“We went for a tank ride which was wonderful. I guess that will be my first and also the last tank ride in my life.”

“On the fifth day we went to the biggest cricket stadium in the world, the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium to watch the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The feeling of sitting inside the stadium was very exciting and the experience I had on that day cannot be put into words.”- Rachel said.

I would like to thank the Indian Army and the Assam Rifles for keeping us safe and secured throughout the tour.They never leave us on our own to make sure that we are okay.”- Rachel added.

Op Sadbhavna will help the Nagaland students, feels this young college student.

The Sadbhavna project will help the Nagaland students as well as the students of the entire North east region because it help us to share our thoughts and experience we had during the tour to the people outside as well ,so this project will unite us with the whole India with a strong bond.
