Union minister Kiren Rijiju, Sarbananda Sonowal, Gaurav Gogoi and S Supongmeren Jamir filed their nomination for the upcoming Loksabha Election 2024 on Tuesday.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju filed his nomination at Aalo, the headquarters of West Siang district.
Rijiju is contest for the Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency.
In Nagaland S Supongmeren Jamir who is contest as a Congress candidate filed his nomination at the Commissioner’s Office, Kohima on Tuesday.
On Tuesday Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal filed his nomination as the BJP candidate for the Dibrugarh parliamentary constituency in Assam.
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is also present when Sonowal filed his nomination before Returning Officer Bikram Kairi at Dibrugarh.
The deputy leader of Congress of the out going Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi filed his nomination from Jorhat Constituency of Assam.
During the submission of nomination papers today, Gaurav was accompanied by the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhupen Kumar Borah and leader of opposition in the Assam Assembly Debabrata Saikia.
Polling for this constituency will be held on April 19 in the first phase of the general elections.
