Poonch will witness history in the making when the first edition of Snow Marathon will be flagged off jointly by Indian Army & District administration on 24 April 2024. Starting from Thanpir Ziarat, the runners will pass through Dronapir Ziarat and finish near Doda Peer in the beautiful backdrop of snow clad Pir Panjal Mountains.
Attractive prizes are on offer for the participants of 5, 10 & 21 Km categories.
The event gives a unique opportunity to all runners to challenge their mind & body in a high-altitude marathon promising a soulful experience, aptly themed as *‘Ruhani Safar’*.
