Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organized “A Day with Company Commander” at Company Operating Base Nampisha, District Kamjong, Manipur.
25 local villagers and students from Meiti, Ningchou, Grihang and Nampisha villages participated in the said event. A series of games and activities for the children were conducted as a part of the program followed by lunch and refreshments fostering the relationship between Assam Rifles and the local population.
The event culminated with the Company Commander motivating and counselling the youngsters about the various entries through which they can join the security forces.
The youngsters and the village authorities appreciated and expressed their gratitude for the initiative taken by Assam Rifles for counselling and motivating the youth of the village towards nation building by joining the security forces.
