ASSAM RIELES ORGANISES DRAWING COMPETITION FOR CHILDREN AT PHAISANGJANG VILLAGE, CHANDEL DISTRICT, MANIPUR

Assam Rifles organised a Drawing Competition for children to celebrate World Art Day at Phaisangjang Village, Chandel District on 15 April 2024, wherein 25 children participated. The sight of the children engrossed in drawing, colouring their creations and displaying their handiwork with pride was a joy to see. The children were given prizes to motivate them.

The event was organised with an aim to bringing back smiles to the faces of the children, underlining the importance of the maintenance of peace in nurturing the future generations of the region.

ASSAM RIFLES DISTRIBUTES RELIEF MATERIAL

Assam Rifles distributed relief material at a far flung border village, Behiang Village of Churachandpur (Manipur) on 15 Apr 2024.

The said event was aimed at addressing the basic requirements of the local people who are facing shortage of basic amenities. Total of 30 villagers of were benefited. The above actions by the Assam Rifles are deep rooted in its aim of restoring peace and normalcy in the state while also assisting the affected people to get back on their feet.

ASSAM RIFLES FOILS ILLEGAL TIMBER SMUGGLING

Assam Rifles foiled illegal timber smuggling in Wamkhu village, Chandel District on 15 April 24. Vigilant trrops of Assam Rifles during an Area Domination Patrol in general area Wamku – Charlong – Khonjol intercepted three Trucks. On examining, the trucks were found to be ferrying 20 x Timber logs illegally.

The entire seizure along with six individuals and three vehicles have been handed over to District Forest Officer, Chandel for further investigation.

ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTED PRE MEDICAL EXAMINATION FOR ASPIRANTS OF AGNIVEER RECTRUITMENT RALLY AT VENG VILLAGE, CHURACHANDPUR DISTRICT IN MANIPUR

Assam Rifles conducted Pre Medical Examination for the aspirants of Agniveer Recruitment Rally at the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital, Veng Village of Churachandpur district, Manipur on 15 April 2024. A total of sixty four aspirants from Churachandpur town were examined by the Medical Team of Assam Rifles.
