Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in the area between Halpi and Saiphai, Chandel District (Manipur), Assam Rifles launched a search operation and recovered one AK-47 Rifle, two local made mortar and war like stores. The recovered items were handed over to Manipur Police.
