Assam Rifles organised Security Meet on 05 May 2024 in collaboration with Village SL to bolster the security infrastructure.
In the meeting discussion on comprehensive assessment of the current security situation at SL Zougam and the surrounding areas was done. Also discussion on methods to enhance coordination and cooperation among the Army, Assam Rifles and locals to address emerging challenges effectively took place.
The briefing was followed by an interactive session in which requirements of all villages were conveyed by respective village chiefs. Discussion on how to improve education, medical, infrastructure facilities and security in the villages was held here.
ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTED ‘A DAY WITH COMPANY COMMANDER’ AT VILLAGE SONGDO & SANGAIKOT, CHURACHANDPUR , MANIPUR
Assam Rifles organised ‘A Day with Company Commander ’ for the students of Gothal High School & Sangaikot Community School.
60 students from Gothal High School & 50 students of Sangaikot Community School attended the event. Various activities were conducted for imparting and understanding the importance of healthy body and healthy mind in accordance to today’s scenario. The event was marked by activities like Trekking, Tree Plantation, Meditation Session and various games. The event instilled a spirit of patriotism and motivated students in harnessing their energy towards positive mind and developing team spirit through sports activities. Company commander also briefed the students regarding daily life in Assam Rifles.
The students as well as teachers appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles in conducting such events and the program paved the way for strengthening the bond and harmony between security forces and local people.
