“Chirnutan” is a socio-cultural organization comprising enthusiastic housewives from the Pandu area, who, despite their busy daily routines, celebrated the birth anniversary of poet Rabindranath Tagore through dancing, singing, and recitations. The event was organized with the efforts of the organization’s leader, Dr. Mahua Bhowmik Sinha, and her associates.

A cultural procession took place on Wednesday morning with about fifty men and women singing, dancing, and reciting. The procession began at Jayamati and passed through Shankar Nagar, New Colony, BBC Colony, Anand Nagar, Tengular Colony, Lok Colony, Loknath Mandir, and concluded at Jayamati Nagar. During this procession, garlands were offered to an effigy of Rabindranath Tagore in the colony, accompanied by dance performances and song recitals.
