Based on credible intelligence of presence of cadres who have abducted civilians in general areas of Kshetrigao, Kongba & Naharup, in Imphal East district, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint operation on May 10, 2024.
Manipur Police established a check post and the joint team carried out a detailed search apprehending 06 KCP (PWG) cadres and safely rescuing two individuals abducted by them. 01 Van, 01 Scooter and 04 Mobile phones were also recovered during the operation.
