Lance Naik Albert Ekka, PVC, a war hero of 1971 Indo-Pak War. During a solemn event at Ranchi on May 17, 2024, tribute was paid to Lance Naik Albert Ekka, PVC to honour his sacrifice in the line of duty.
During the event a Bust of Lance Naik Albert Ekka, Param Veer Chakra (P), a 1971 War Hero, was inaugurated and dedicated to the Govt Primary School, Namkum, Ranchi in presence of Mr Vincent Ekka, Son of Lance Naik Albert Ekka PVC(P). Inspirational books based on the life and valour of Lance Naik Albert Ekka were also distributed to the school children’s during the event.
In addition, an inspirational story book of “Shaheed Havildar Rajesh Kumar, Ashok Chakra” was also released. The event was graced by Reema Puri, Zonal President, AWWA, Bharmastra Corps and other dignitaries, who interacted with the school children and staff and inspiring them as well as to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in the school students.
