Acting on credible intelligence of presence of cadres in general Area Khurai Kongpal and Lamlong Bazar in Imphal East District of Manipur, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police Commandos launched a search operation on 22 May 2024 and apprehended two active cadres (including one women) of PREPAK (PRO) alongwith Rs 35,000/- cash. The apprehended cadres and recovered amount has been handed over to Manipur Police.
